About Integrative Acupuncture Care
At the heart of any acupuncture practice is the wisdom that is Chinese Medicine. For over 27 years, this ancient tradition has allowed me to care for thousands of people health needs.
In addition to acupuncture I provide cupping, moxa, gua-sha, and the diagnostic tools found in Chinese Medicine.
About five years into my practice, I came across the work of Matt Callison and his Sports Medicine Acupuncture courses. These trainings showed my how to integrate today’s understanding of the human body into my acupuncture treatments. In 2015 I became fully Certified as a Sports Medicine Acupuncturist (C.SMA).
Another integrative aspect to my approach of acupuncture how I use Polyvagal Theory (PVT) to provide mental-emotional and spiritual benefits. PVT was developed by Stephen Porges and it illuminates a way acupuncture can help balance and regulate the nervous system.
Whether it is a soft-tissue injury, a stressful period, or another challenge our modern lifestyles put on our health, Integrative Acupuncture Care can help heal tissues, support inner-balance, and foster health and energy.
